Hardwiring Happiness - Rick Hanson
An incredible book focused on brain science, savoring positive experiences, and evolutionary explanations for anxiety and related concerns. Dr. Hanson provides easy to digest metaphors alongside clinical language, and I would recommend this book to anybody seeking more joy in their lives.
This book is practical in its exploration of child/parent dynamics and how these shape us throughout our life. Offering insight, reflection prompts, and easy to understand language, it is highly recommended.
This book offers an overview to a variety of relationship structures and includes many relevant points for reflection. Covering topics such as jealousy/compersion, navigation of boundaries, and offering tools for healthy communication and emotional regulation - this book can be a tool for any relationship style.

Offering an overview of IFS in various forms, these books are insightful for a wide range of audiences. “No Bad Parts” is easily digestible and provides an overview of IFS, while You are the One You Have Been Waiting For provides IFS information as applied to couples.

Using the skills designed by Marsha Linehan, this workbook provides practical exercises and explanations for DBT skills in each of the four pillars: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance

Includes 75 mindfulness exercises for practice in a variety of contexts!
Man’s Search for Meaning - Viktor Frankl
A book that was required reading for my grad school cohort and has stuck with me since. Frankl offers a recount of his time in a concentration camp and uses his experience to discuss the importance of creating meaning in every day encounters. A great book exploring philosophical and existential concerns.
Unmasking Autism - Devon Price
Written by an autistic clinician, this book is a powerful exploration of neurodiversity and the overall concept of masking and related domains.
Come As You Are - Emily Nagoski
A book dedicated to exploration of desire, intimacy, and mindfulness as related to women’s sexuality. Blending research with easily understood metaphors, this book is a must read!

From renowned researcher and couples counselor John Gottman, an easy to understand, practical guide to sustaining a healthy marriage.
